Everyone commented on how beautiful the ceremony and church was. Also how lovely Rev. Andrew Burtt was too. You made us and the guests feel very at ease. We were so sad we didn’t get to make it back down to visit before we left but we are coming back in October for a little mini moon so hopefully (can) come and say hello then.

'Dear Reverend Andrew,
The intention of writing this email has been spoken about since the day of our wedding, such is the impression you had on us all. We are now back home, and have been proudly sharing the memories with our children, family and friends; showing photographs and playing back the video our friend kindly shot. Needless to say, we are cherishing it all.
What is worth saying however, is how we both felt your presence, warmth and empathy on our wedding day. It truly added to what was already a day charged with emotion. We enjoyed your way of getting to know us, giving us space to be comfortable and feel welcomed. We were touched by the tone and timbre of our ceremony, how you involved everybody with such grace, and how you reconfigured our positioning in front of the altar so that we could face our family and friends, making our smallest of gatherings become even more intimate and bespoke.
Your team of Wedding Vergers too, added to the day with their clear excitement for us, in addition to ensuring the church was so perfectly set-up for our ceremony; not least the strategically placed boxes of tissues coming into their own early-on in the proceedings! Please also extend our thanks to Amanda, who undoubtedly worked her magic in the background to ensure everything went ahead as intended.
As for the church, we were humbled and utterly charmed by not just its historic significance but it's daily presence in the community - open to all denominations - making us feel entirely at ease that we were marrying in a place of great sanctuary for all.
We look forward to the day we can bring our children; when we can attend one of your services and have them soak up what you and Ayia Kyriaki Church mean to our family.
We cannot thank you enough for how you shaped the memories of our special day, but hope the sentiments contained within go some of the way there!
