Legal
Your wedding planner or tour operator may deal with all your legal requirements, but if you are booking directly please note the following:-
You are required to obtain a Special License (First Schedule Type B) giving you permission to marry in Cyprus.
(This also negates the need for Banns to be called either in the UK or Cyprus).
The license is purchased from Paphos, Geroskipou, Peyia or Polis Town Halls depending on the location of your wedding venue.
If you are not sure in which area your wedding venue is located, contact our wedding coordinator and she will be happy to help.
Take all the documents mentioned below with you to your Town Hall meeting and please let our wedding coordinator know when you have made your appointment.
