Music has a very special place in an Anglican wedding ceremony and we can provide many different options for you to choose from.
When choosing music please take into consideration that it must be suitable for a religious ceremony and that there will be many other opportunities throughout the day to play music that is special to you. See our suggestions below for ideas.
To discuss your music choices in detail, please contact our wedding coordinator Amanda McCusker who is happy to help you.

A selection of our hymn choices are listed below with links to YouTube examples.
The PDF (hymns.pdf) above has the words and number of verses.
Although a hymn (or hymns) can add meaningfully to a wedding ceremony, it is not a requirement and some couples prefer to omit this part of the service.
‘Give me joy’
‘All things bright and beautiful’
‘Praise my soul the King of heaven’
‘Make me a channel of your peace’
‘Lord of all hopefulness’
‘One more step along the world I go’
‘Love divine all loves excelling’
‘Morning has broken’

Music
It is usual to play 3 pieces of music during the service; for the bride's entrance, during the signing of certificates and for the couple's exit. You may also like to have music playing for your guests while they wait for the bride to arrive and the service to begin.
You will find an extensive list of suggestions for wedding music below, with links to YouTube examples for you to listen to, in case they are unfamiliar to you.
We welcome classical duos/quartets to play at weddings, but please contact our Wedding Coordinator before booking to ensure your choice of musicians is suitable for the venue.
Only live music is permitted at Ayia Kyriaki so if you choose to have your wedding at this lovely church our organist will provide the music you select from the list below. There is no additional fee for this.
At all other venues, including St Nicholas' Chapel both recorded and live music are permitted. We offer Spotify and a high quality speaker so please put your song/music choices on your Wedding/Renewal of Vows/Blessing Form and your vergers will confirm your choices at the Priest meeting. You can discuss your music choices with our Wedding Coordinator to confirm they are suitable.
