Flowers and decorations at hotel and beach venues should be arranged at the discretion of the venue owner and we are happy to conduct your service with their arrangements. However they should not be placed on the ceremony table or impede the approach to or the encircling of the altar or any of the ritual movement action. If you are planning to have flowers or decoration at any of our churches please let our wedding coordinator know. Flowers may not be placed on the alter in any church. Permanent fixings which may cause damage to church furnishings and chairs are not permitted. If bows or flowers are to be used to decorate the ends of the rows of chairs they should be used at regular intervals along the entire length of the aisle. They should be attached with ribbon or string, not tape, so that they can be removed easily and quickly. All flowers and decorations used in the church must be removed immediately following the service. The use of a runner is discouraged in churches because it is a potential safety hazard. As the bridal party and your guests are leaving the church they could easily lose their footing. Ayia Kyriaki may have plants, flowers and hangings in place in keeping with the seasons of the liturgical year. These arrangements will remain in place for the wedding service.
